Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Ticker AI mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What Ticker AI is — and is not
Ticker AI is an educational market-research tool. It analyses chart images you provide, adds market data and news context, and explains what it observes in plain language.
Ticker AI is not a broker, investment adviser, financial adviser or fiduciary. Nothing the Service produces is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any security or asset. The Service does not execute trades and does not connect to brokerage accounts. Every decision you make is your own.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) and legally able to enter into these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
3. Your account
You can use the Service without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for the activity that happens under it and for keeping access to it secure. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile → Account, which permanently deletes your account and its data.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the charts, notes, journal entries and other content you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you — for example, sending a chart image to our AI provider to generate your analysis. We do not use Your Content to advertise to you or sell it to anyone.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and you must not submit content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- present the Service's output as licensed financial advice, or resell it as such;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the Service;
- use the Service to break the law or to manipulate a market;
- circumvent usage limits, paywalls or security controls.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed through Apple, under Apple's terms. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we cannot issue them directly.
Prices may change; we will tell you before a change affects you.
7. Market data and AI output
Market data is provided by third parties, may be delayed, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. AI-generated text can be wrong, incomplete or misleading. The Service shows confidence and provenance so you can judge for yourself — but you must verify anything you rely on. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any data or output.
Market data is retrieved from Yahoo Finance's publicly available APIs via the open-source yfinance library (Apache License 2.0). Neither yfinance nor Ticker AI is affiliated with, endorsed by, or vetted by Yahoo, Inc. Your use of that data is subject to Yahoo's terms — see the Disclaimer for the full attribution and links.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ticker AI and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any trading or investment losses, lost profits, or lost data, arising from your use of the Service — even if we were advised such damages were possible. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions — in which case the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted.
10. Assumption of risk
Trading and investing involve substantial risk of loss, including the loss of your entire investment. Past performance never indicates future results. You accept full responsibility for your decisions and their outcomes.
11. Changes and termination
We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; if a change is material we will notify you in the app or update the date above. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.
